We went down to the local steam railway (which runs about 500m from our house!) and there was a small train doing rides, which L loved. He is not a fan of the big steam trains now (its a bit boring) but likes the "O" gauge layout and the railway museum. However, this one was a big hit and the guy was not even charging - presumably it was included in the fare on the train and although we're season ticket holders, we'd not been on that visit.
