Warwick Castle
A friend is visiting from the US so we met up with her and her husband, my friend C and her daughters A and E (with whom we went to the zoo in the summer) today and visited Warwick Castle. We spent almost 7 hours there (with a detour to the town centre for lunch) with lots of running around and climbing of stairs by the two 2 year olds in our midst.

Feeding the squirrels in West Park
This has become an annual thing and I realised today I should remind my North American readers that there is no rabies in the UK, so no rabid squirrels! We've been lucky to get some nice weekends lately, so last weekend headed out to West Park, one of Wolverhampton's two Victorian parks, to feed the ducks/geese and the squirrels.

Milton Keynes
On Friday, I had to drive down to Milton Keynes and took L with me. I had thought about bringing him to the zoo, but we got caught in traffic on the way down and then got lost, so we didn't really have time. So we went for lunch in Ikea and then on to the park for a run around.
One of the reasons we did not make it to the zoo was that L was very keen on these computer thingies in Ikea
