A few from my phone
Watching sushi go by (with bumped head).
L has made friends with the assistant manager of Yo Sushi.
(Why yes, he is wearing different clothes in these sushi-eating photos...)
Eye test (his eyesight is fine)
And a hair cut (well, lunch after the haircut)
Sound asleep with his toy...

His old bed has been parked under the window of my room for a few weeks. When I suggested we might get rid of it, look what happened...
And finally, I was not sure whether to tell him off or take a photo when I turned around and saw this... That's a tube of tomato paste!

Down at the trains
We headed down at the trains again in mid-May. It was Thomas weekend so we avoided the station itself, but had a walk along the waterfront and then went to the Scottish Railway Museum.

And this is the result - that's not a black eye. It's soot.
At the train museum they have a travelling Post Office carriage
I think Royal Mail missed a trick. 5 year olds are the ideal labour for a travelling Post Office.
Something bizarre has happened to the colour in this, which is a pity because its quite a nice picture otherwise...

The next week, the weather warmed up and we headed into Edinburgh, for sushi (look out for the rice stuck to the trousers!) and a run around in St Andrew's Square
Aviemore, Easter 2010
Due to incompetency with a new camera on my part, the next few posts worth of photos are low resolution and therefore small.
We went to Aviemore for Easter weekend, staying at the Aviemore Highland Resort and mostly just staying on site making use of the activities, which included a room full of bouncy castles and my favourite, what I call a "(dump the) Kids Club" which gave me a couple of hours break each day.
We'd had a lot of snow the previous week and much of it was still lying.
The kids menu was predictable, but he has recently discovered Sprite.
The selection of bouncy castles and inflatable slides were a bit hit
And he enjoyed supervising the evening entertainment one night
