With Daddy, in their kilts. Unfortunately he was not being co-operative and whilst I got some good ones of N, this was the only decent one of L. The one full length one I got was blurry, unfortunately.

Some friends had a party yesterday and we went across to Lincolnshire for the day. Internet friends, so you'll notice even the children have usernames (internet nicknames). One of those odd events where everyone introduces themselves twice, once by their real name and then by their username. I put my camera aside early on and forgot to take more pictures, so there are only a few. We had a lovely time and L was very impressed by their animals, which include lots of different chooks (all of which he declared to be cockerels, even when we showed him where they laid their eggs), a rabbit, some quail and turkeys.

L was very impressed with bisonbaby's miniature park bench, but couldn't quite understand why we couldn't join him on it


But he made the most of it anyway

Last Sunday we went to a christening (the younger sister of A, who we went to the zoo with). L was dressed up for the occasion, so it seemed a good time to get some pictures.





L also got his first taste of "fairy bread", an ancient antipodean delicacy served at children's parties (which I made for A&E's uncle's Australian girlfriend)
